Does the acne treatment tend to last for some time even after the treatment is finished?

I'm the type of person who worries more about what happens after it's over than what I start, haha. If I worked hard on acne treatment for a few months until my skin improved, but then it went back to its old state as soon as I stopped the care, I think it would feel a bit anticlimactic.

Of course, just because you've had acne treatment once doesn't mean you'll never have skin trouble again for the rest of your life.

However, I am curious how long the skin remains in a stable state after consistent care for a certain period.

For example, if the frequency of new breakouts has decreased after receiving acne treatment for several months, is it possible to maintain that level for a while with home care alone?

Or I am wondering if it recurs relatively quickly if I stop the treatment.

I want to organize my lifestyle and skincare routine during treatment as well, so I can maintain them for as long as possible haha.

Once my condition improves, is it possible to receive acne treatment occasionally when needed rather than continuing every month?

I thought there might be some people who take a break for a few months and then get it managed once or twice when they start worrying about it again little by little.

Also, I am wondering if there are cases where, even if skin trouble recurs, it passes relatively mildly rather than becoming as severe as it was before treatment.

It is natural that the duration of acne treatment varies from person to person, but I would like to hear the experiences of those who have actually seen results for more than half a year.

Please also let me know if it was okay to visit frequently at first and then significantly increase the intervals later on.

Given the time and money invested, I hope it stays comfortable to some extent even after the treatment is finished haha.
