I am in my late 50s; can I manage my nasolabial folds with Botox?
Losing skin elasticity as I get older is a concern, but lately I am particularly worried about wrinkles around my mouth.
I used to think that the wrinkles that appear when smiling were natural, but now it seems like I can see my nasolabial folds even when I'm just standing still, so they catch my eye every time I look in the mirror.
I try to moisturize at home and consistently apply firming cream, but it seems difficult to manage existing wrinkles with cosmetics alone.
So, I am looking into wrinkle-related treatments available at Maypure.
I was initially thinking about Botox, but I'm curious if deep wrinkles like nasolabial folds can also be managed with Botox.
I am interested in lifting procedures like Ulthera or InMode. Would these treatments be more suitable for cases where my skin is sagging and wrinkles have deepened?
I don't want my face to change too artificially; I'd like it to look a little more natural and firm than it does now.
I would like to know if it is advisable to receive separate consultations for wrinkles and sagging in my late 50s.

- 01CommentsI also have an unconscious habit of frowning, so I can relate to your concerns about frown lines haha. If you are worried about your expression looking awkward, I recommend mentioning that during the consultation first and discussing the dosage and your next visit date together!290026.10.22
- 02CommentsIt bothers you when wrinkles catch your eye on the meeting screen, doesn't it? Haha. Try showing them your habit of raising your eyebrows during the consultation as well. If you mention upfront that you want your facial expressions to look natural, it will help you convey your concerns more effectively.170026.10.22
- 03CommentsSkin Botox differs from regular Botox in terms of injection depth and purpose, so it seems many people consult about it due to concerns regarding pores or skin texture. If you are worried about your facial expressions looking unnatural, please mention that beforehand. Also, check when the bumps typically subside and whether it is safe to receive this treatment concurrently with other procedures.230026.10.22
- 01CommentsYour question about wanting to verify actual movement rather than repeating it every month is very specific. During the consultation, it would be helpful to first confirm whether the same approach is appropriate for the eye and nasolabial fold areas, and to receive guidance on recording methods for comparison under the same lighting and facial expressions. It would also make planning easier if you asked if you can receive a follow-up consultation without booking a next procedure, and inquired about the cost for that as well.670026.10.21

- 03CommentsIt stings slightly during the procedure, and the effects usually last 3 to 6 months. If you get it regularly before wrinkles settle, the results will last longer.710026.10.12
