One side of my jaw looks more developed than the other. Can I correct the asymmetry a little with square jaw Botox?
I'm bothered that one side of my jaw looks more angular in photos than when I look in the mirror head-on.
I seem to have a habit of using one side more than the other when chewing food, and when I clench my teeth, I can actually feel the muscles on one side becoming tighter.
I used to just brush it off, thinking my face was naturally asymmetrical, but since one side of my lower face kept looking wider in photos and videos, it started catching my eye more and more lol.
In this case, would it be worth consulting about square jaw Botox?
For me, it is more important to have less of a visible difference between the left and right sides rather than reducing both sides equally.
I am wondering if there are cases where, during a consultation, the size of the muscles on both sides is checked separately while the patient clenches their teeth, and the amount of Botox is adjusted differently.
I'm worried that if I get them fitted exactly on both sides, the side that was originally less developed might shrink even more, making the asymmetry even more noticeable.
Also, if I have a consultation, can you help me distinguish to some extent whether the difference I feel is really due to muscles or if it is due to bone structure or my usual facial shape?
I want to know in advance which parts can be controlled with Botox and which cannot before I start.
I don't have any intention of making my face perfectly symmetrical, haha. Everyone's face is naturally a little different, so I think it would be enough if it just reduced the feeling that one side stands out too much in photos.
I am also wondering if the difference might reappear after the effects of the Botox wear off if I leave the habit of chewing on one side as is.
Has anyone who has received square jaw Botox started this because of a difference in muscle tone between the left and right sides like me?
I'd love to hear your honest feedback on whether both lines started looking a bit similar after a few weeks, or if there wasn't as much change as you expected haha.

During the consultation, it would be helpful to first confirm whether the same approach is appropriate for the eye and nasolabial fold areas, and to receive guidance on recording methods for comparison under the same lighting and facial expressions. It would also make planning easier if you asked if you can receive a follow-up consultation without booking a next procedure, and inquired about the cost for that as well.370026.10.21
