This is my first time getting square jaw Botox, and I'm worried my face might look too thin.
Lately, when I take photos, I feel like my lower face looks a little wider than before, so I am looking into square jaw Botox.
I don't actually have a lot of facial fat, but I tend to put a lot of strain on my jaw when I clench my teeth. I think I have an unconscious habit of grinding my teeth even in everyday life, and it seems to get worse when I'm stressed.
So, I was wondering if getting Botox might be a good idea if my lower face looks wide because of my muscles.
But when I looked up reviews of square jaw Botox, some people said their facial lines became cleaner, while others mentioned that it reduced so much that their cheeks looked sunken, so I'm a little scared lol.
I don't want my face to get drastically smaller; it would be enough if my jawline just looked a little softer.
For someone receiving it for the first time, is it possible to start with a slightly lower dose to observe the reaction?
I'm also curious to check the muscle size directly when I clench my teeth tightly and see if it fits just as much as is needed.
And are the effects not visible immediately, but gradually felt after a few weeks?
Since I look in the mirror every day, I feel like I might not notice any changes, so I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to keep before and after photos.
I also want to know if I might feel a loss of strength when chewing after getting square jaw Botox.
I usually eat tough foods well, so I'm also worried that it might cause discomfort in my daily life.
Is there anyone here who started getting Botox because, like me, they don't have much facial fat but are self-conscious about their lower face due to jaw muscles?
I would like to hear your actual feedback on whether you were satisfied with the result being naturally trimmed without looking too slim.

- 01CommentsYour question about wanting to verify actual movement rather than repeating it every month is very specific. During the consultation, it would be helpful to first confirm whether the same approach is appropriate for the eye and nasolabial fold areas, and to receive guidance on recording methods for comparison under the same lighting and facial expressions. It would also make planning easier if you asked if you can receive a follow-up consultation without booking a next procedure, and inquired about the cost for that as well.270026.10.21

- 02CommentsIf you notice changes in specific areas after two months, it would be helpful to organize the previous treatment dates, products, and dosages and consult with a doctor. Rather than simply following the treatment intervals of others, it would be better to explain your skin condition and concerns about tolerance to establish criteria for deciding on the next treatment.540026.10.16
