How can you distinguish vertical wrinkles from expression lines?
I have many wrinkles on my face, some of which run vertically, so I am looking into a Botox consultation. Since it is difficult for me to determine the exact locations and causes, I feel that deciding on a procedure based solely on the shape of the wrinkles is not advisable. I have never received Botox before.
I saw in the Maypure guide that they distinguish between dynamic wrinkles, which appear when making facial expressions, and static wrinkles, which are visible even when at rest. I would like to know if the consultation checks both the relaxed state of the face and the state with facial expressions, and whether the movement and depth of wrinkle formation are more important than the vertical direction.
I would like to know if, in cases where static wrinkles are present, the treatment is evaluated solely on wrinkle Botox, or if skin Botox or other skin treatments are also considered. Please also explain what information regarding my usual facial expressions and skin condition would be helpful during the initial consultation, in addition to the location of the wrinkles.
