I have sensitive and dry skin. Will it be effective to use ceramide consistently?

My skin is sensitive and dry, so I need to strengthen my barrier.
I searched and found that ceramide products are good for strengthening the skin barrier, but I'm curious to know how effective they are if you use them consistently.
