How many times should I get laser treatment for freckles?

Hello. I'm a woman in my 30s.

I didn't see any freckles in my 20s, but now that I'm in my mid-30s, they're starting to appear on my cheeks and forehead. How many freckle laser treatments do I need to get rid of them? And I'm really curious about the pain when getting freckle laser treatments. I can tolerate procedures like botox and fillers, but I can't handle the pain from laser treatments. (Underarm hair removal was also incredibly painful.......) And if I take good care of myself after getting all the freckle laser treatments, will the freckles stay the same?
