These days, I'm scared to look in the mirror because my pores are getting bigger and bigger.
Hello! I'm a prospective freshman who has finally escaped the hell of the CSAT.
The point is, I'm writing this because every time I look in the mirror these days, I sigh because of my skin. ㅠㅠ Now that the college entrance exam is over, I'm trying to dress up and go out and have fun, but maybe it's because the weather's gotten colder, but my skin condition is really terrible.
The biggest stress is My pores are enlarged around my nose and cheeks! In the past, I could just pat cushion on and my skin would be as smooth as a peeled egg. But these days, every time I apply foundation, I can clearly see it clogging my pores, and it accentuates my unevenness, so I've lost all interest in putting on makeup. ㅠㅠ
Especially when I look in the mirror under natural or bright light, my pores are so obvious... I feel down even before going out to meet friends. I diligently fill in the gaps with primer and try all the famous foundations, but it only lasts for a moment and doesn't solve the fundamental problem. It's so frustrating, I'm going crazy.
When I come home and wash my face, my skin used to be so firm, but now it feels rough and flaky to the touch, like my skin has lost all its strength. ㅠㅠ I tried diligently taking care of my skin at home with ampoules and pore packs, which are said to be good, but when I wake up, it's back to the same old skin.
I guess home care alone has its limits. I used to have a glowing complexion even with a cursory application, but I haven't been taking care of myself since my senior year of high school, and my skin barrier seems to have collapsed. Now that I have more time, I want to start taking proper care of my skin, but I'm at a loss as to where to start to minimize the enlarged pores.
Any of you have experienced similar issues to mine, or do you have any tips or treatments that have proven truly effective for managing enlarged pores? Please help me, even if it's just a small tip!
