I'm curious about the picotoning cycle.

I'd like to know the pico toning cycle. I understand pico toning works by breaking down skin pigments into small pieces and excreting them. I've heard that multiple treatments are needed to see results. But do I really need to do them consecutively? It wouldn't be easy to schedule multiple visits to the dermatologist. I'm thinking of pico toning once a week. However, if anyone knows whether longer pico toning cycles are less effective, I'd appreciate it.
