How do you remove impurities?

I've never really cared much about skincare, but lately, when I look in the mirror under bright lights, I'm often shocked. Before, my skin seemed clear even with a quick wash, but now I'm starting to notice dark spots that can't be hidden by makeup. Even though I haven't been outdoors much, my skin tone has become uneven and dull, which is frustrating. So, after work, I've been habitually spending time searching for blemish removal methods in bed. There are so many skincare routines out there, but it's hard to figure out which one is right for me. I'd love to see a professional and get my blemishes removed right away, but the cost and time constraints make me hesitant. Every night, I wrestle with the question: Will consistent home care help improve my complexion, or is professional treatment the fastest and most reliable option? I desperately want to look cleaner and brighter, and I'm curious about how you all handle blemishes. Do you have any effective products or skincare tips you can recommend?
