Effective way to get rid of blackheads! Does anyone know of one?

Lately, every time I look in the mirror after work, the area around my nose is particularly noticeable. I used to get compliments on my skin, but now I feel like I need to take better care of it. It's especially frustrating to see the area around my nose flaking off so quickly, no matter how much I try to cover it up with makeup.

So, I've tried removing blackheads on my own several times. But I'm worried because it only irritates them and they come back quickly. Actually, I've heard that forcing them out isn't good, so I've been looking for information on how to melt blackheads with a gentle oil. But there are so many products on the market, it's hard to know which one will work best for my skin. I just want to keep taking care of my nose and get my nose smooth again.
