I want to learn how to care for sensitive skin.

Lately, looking in the mirror every morning has become quite stressful. I used to be able to apply any makeup without any breakouts, but at some point, even after washing my face and applying toner, my face would often get hot and red. Could this be the sensitive skin I've always heard about? ㅠㅠ

At first, I was really embarrassed, but now I'm trying to accept the reality and focus on taking care of my skin. Especially with the seasonal change, the dryness has worsened, and my skin condition has really deteriorated. I used to carry a light makeup bag when going out, but now I feel a bit bitter when I see myself carrying a lot of soothing mists and ointments, worried that my skin might get upset outside.

So, I realized it was time for me to go beyond simple care and focus on truly dedicated care. The first thing I did was check all the cleansers and basic products in my bathroom. After examining each ingredient, I found quite a few potentially irritating ingredients.

I've heard that with sensitive skin, it's important to minimize irritation as much as possible, so I've switched to a slightly acidic cleansing foam and switched to using my hands instead of a cotton pad to gently pat my skin into the toner. Even when drying my face immediately after washing, I try to gently press my face with a towel to remove excess moisture, rather than rubbing it vigorously.

I personally experience every day how even the smallest of habits can have a greater impact on my skin than I thought. However, I realized that simply changing products isn't enough. It made me reflect on my overall lifestyle. I noticed that when I didn't get enough sleep, I would inevitably get redness the next day and my skin barrier would be compromised. So these days, I'm drinking more water and taking vitamins, working to improve my skin's health from the inside out.

I also use a home care routine, layering several soothing ampoules every night instead of using sheet masks. While this care does help, it's true that maintaining this condition and regaining the natural health of my sensitive skin can be a longer and more arduous process than I expected.

Every time I choose cosmetics, analyzing all the ingredients and researching reviews takes more energy than I thought. But I can't stop, knowing how difficult it is to restore a damaged skin barrier. Especially now that the cold winds are blowing, the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors is growing, making my skin feel even more irritable. Do you have any special tips for when your skin suddenly becomes sensitive? Could you share any sensitive skin care tips I missed, or any hypoallergenic routines that have been particularly helpful? I'm really curious to hear other people's experiences.

맞아요 저도 거울보면 깜짝 깜짝 놀란답니다.. 망가진 장벽을 되돌리기가 영 쉽지는 않죠 그래도 꾸준히 관리하는 게 중요한 것 같아요
