In the past, whenever I had skin problems, I would always blame it on cosmetics. However, as I continued to take care of my skin, I realized that the real cause was Lifestyle habits I began to feel more and more that my skin was like a mirror that reflected exactly how I spent my day.
The biggest change was my sleeping habits. When I often fell asleep late into the night staring at my smartphone, my skin would wake up dull and flaky. Conversely, when I fell asleep before midnight and slept for at least seven hours, my skin tone looked noticeably clearer the next day. It's no wonder they say that even the most expensive products are useless if you can't sleep.
My water-drinking habits were also important. I used to barely drink a glass of water a day, but since I started consciously drinking more water, my skin has definitely become less tight. I especially try to drink more water on days I drink coffee. It's a small habit, but I can definitely feel the difference in my skin condition.
Another way is stress management. During times of high stress, breakouts inevitably appear on my chin and forehead. So, these days, I try to take time to calm myself down, even if it's just a short walk or listening to my favorite music. A more relaxed mind also makes my skin less sensitive.
Ultimately, skin care isn't just about what happens on the vanity table. It's about everyday choices like sleep, water, and mindset.
