The moment your hand touches your face, you're guaranteed trouble!

I have a habit of unconsciously resting my chin or touching my nose. Lately, I've been having trouble with breakouts around my chin, but after thinking about it, I realized it was my hands that were the problem.

Hands are full of germs. If you touch your face with those hands, there's no way your skin will remain. So, these days, I'm making a conscious effort to avoid touching my face. Even if it itches, I don't scratch with my fingernails; I use a clean cotton swab or spray some mist. These seemingly small but hardest-to-break bad habits—do you have them?

You probably know that the screens on our smartphones, which we touch every day, are also teeming with bacteria, right? Touching them while talking on the phone can cause irritation. I've developed a habit of wiping my phone with an alcohol wipe whenever I remember, and it's been quite effective. It's the first step toward maintaining good hand and personal hygiene, as well as protecting your skin.
