So these days, I've been making one day a week a "do nothing day." After washing my face, I just apply toner and cream, skipping the packs and massages. I was nervous at first, but it actually felt like I was giving my skin time to heal itself.
I've learned that respecting your skin's rhythm is more important than over-care. Sometimes, having the courage to take something away, rather than adding something every day, makes your skin feel more at ease. This routine has become my personal standard, one I intend to maintain going forward.
