Lately, my skin has been going through all sorts of changes, so I've been thinking about it for a while, and it turns out the culprit is my own minor lifestyle habits. I used to be able to sleep all night without removing my makeup and still be fine, but now, if I neglect it for even a single day, my skin immediately starts to feel puffy and irritated, sending me a warning.
One thing I'm particularly trying to overcome is my habit of staying up late because I'm always on my phone. I've been robbing my skin of its ability to regenerate overnight. I've also noticed that simply drinking lukewarm water instead of coffee and gently rubbing my face when washing has significantly reduced my skin's dryness.
In the end, I think that what's more important than a tube of luxury cream is the small act of taking care of myself.
