Sharing the lifestyle habits that changed my skin! I changed my pillowcase frequently, and my breakouts disappeared.
I had frequent breakouts on one side of my cheek, so I looked into it and discovered it was my sleeping habits. I tend to sleep on my side, and the dust and sweat on my pillowcase seemed to be irritating my skin. So I started sleeping with a towel over my head every night and washing and changing my pillowcase every other day. Amazingly, I haven't had any breakouts on my cheek since.
While changing towels daily was a bit of a hassle, considering the cost and time of going to the hospital for skin troubles, it was a much more economical solution. In addition to my pillow, I also took care of my hair, which frequently touches my face, and disinfected my phone, which significantly improved my overall skin condition. I realized the importance of creating a hygienic environment that allows my skin to breathe while I sleep.
While buying expensive cosmetics is great, I've found that checking basic lifestyle habits plays a bigger role than you might think.
