Sharing my own home care know-how: Cooling massage know-how to instantly reduce skin heat after exercise
After working out, my face gets incredibly flushed. If I don't cool it down properly, my pores will enlarge and I'll probably age faster. So, immediately after I finish working out, I gently wash my face with cool water, then soak a cotton pad in some soothing toner I keep in the fridge and apply it as a mask. Even just five minutes of this will quickly reduce the heat and leave my skin feeling plump.
I've also found that keeping the massage roller cold and using it with aloe gel is very effective. Immediately after exercise, my skin is quite sensitive, so I find it best to focus on gentle cooling rather than applying too much pressure. Another rule I follow is to avoid direct contact with hot water when showering. I also make sure to apply moisturizer thoroughly.
