The importance of lifestyle habits and a healthy diet that affect your skin

Realizing that focusing solely on the surface of my skin was limited, I decided to completely change the lifestyle habits that were affecting my skin. I began a diet that included limiting processed foods and sugar and focusing on antioxidant-rich berries and nuts. Additionally, I began my personal skincare routine by engaging in 30 minutes of light exercise every day to sweat and eliminate impurities.

For home care, I focus on cooling with aloe gel to soothe skin that's heated up after exercise. High skin temperatures can easily lead to a loss of elasticity, so maintaining an appropriate temperature is crucial. I recently discovered a cooling stick, which I keep cold and massage over my entire face. It's incredibly effective at reducing puffiness and soothing the skin.

My monthly skin check-up shows that my complexion has become clearer and my skin texture has become more even. Looking back at the skin care records I've consistently kept, I can clearly see that when my lifestyle habits break down, my skin also breaks down. While I sometimes seek out skin treatments to find quick solutions, I ultimately realize that sticking to the basics is the most powerful force.
