After having a hair-tangled experience in my zipper, I've been rethinking my skin routine.
I guess people tend to become more calm and rational when faced with truly absurd situations. Just now, I had a hair-tangled zipper and had to struggle for quite a while to get it out. Pulling it out forcefully would strain the hair roots and inevitably damage the hair, so I analyzed the zipper's structure and the degree of tangle, pulling it out one by one. Then, a thought occurred to me: "Am I really paying this much attention to my skin and taking care of it?" After all, a healthy skincare routine starts with these subtle considerations. I'm also conducting my own analysis on the frequency of my mask packs, a topic many people worry about. While people tend to recommend one pack a day, skin absorption isn't infinite. Taking into account external temperature, humidity, and daily sebum production, I find that three to four times a week is the optimal balance. There's also a logical reason why overhydration can actually weaken skin's natural regenerative power. Just as a zipper needs lubrication to run smoothly, our skin also needs a disciplined routine to replenish moisture at the right time. Rather than blindly following what everyone else does, try clearly assessing your own situation and adjusting your cycle, like I did with my hair today. The accumulation of small calculations ultimately leads to healthy skin that won't break down.
