In a world where only one side can hear... I'm sharing my small skin healing routine.
The weather was so beautiful today that I was feeling great going out, but on the way back, I must have dropped one of my earphones on the street. Do you know that empty, frustrating feeling of hearing only half the world? I'm so lost right now, lying in bed, and despite my laziness, I'm writing this post to try and soothe my mind. Honestly, at times like this, rather than just lazing around, I try to shift my focus with small, home-based treatments. The thought of buying new earphones makes me sad, but I've decided to treat that money as an investment in my skin and have some home skincare products. No matter how tired I am, I have one habit I always stick to: using a soothing pack and cooling stick for 15 minutes before bed. Nothing beats this for calming down the heat from the outdoors and cooling off my inner anger (earphones... ugh...). Lately, I've been reaching for a favorite item: I rub this over my sheet mask, and it makes a huge difference in how my skin absorbs the product. It makes even my makeup look better the next day. It may seem like a trivial habit, but I think my skin condition is maintained thanks to the tools I use every day at home. I'm so upset I don't want to lift a finger, but looking in the mirror and taking care of myself like this makes me feel a little better. If you're having a bad day, try focusing on a little time for yourself like I did. It's sad about the earphones, but if my skin improves, I'll take solace in that.
