The logical reason why pores remain tight even during the 90% humidity rainy season.
In this humid weather, where humidity hovers above 90%, lowering skin temperature is key to home care, rather than complex nutrition. Even with the dehumidifier running at full blast, this sticky feeling is making me feel uncomfortable, but in reality, our pores are probably even more stressed than I am. It's a well-known fact that high temperatures and humidity simultaneously increase sebum production exponentially. That's why today's pore care routine is completely focused on "cooling and consolidation." First, I gently removed excess oil with a mildly acidic cleanser, then placed a cold soothing pad from the refrigerator on my cheeks and nose for five minutes. The physical cooling effect helps open pores tighten. Next, I applied a thin layer of oil-free ampoule. The key here is to omit the cream. Applying a heavy formula on a humid day can block pores from breathing, creating a perfect environment for rancid sebum to build up. Analyzing it, I've found that emptying and calming the skin is far more beneficial for improving its texture than simply filling it. When I look in the mirror in the evening, I notice that my skin is noticeably less shiny and my pores are noticeably smaller than usual, which is satisfying. I encourage everyone to switch from blindly applying products to a routine that lowers the temperature.
