This is my own cica pack method for soothing my sensitive skin that changes with each season.

I used to get really stressed out every time the seasons changed, with redness and breakouts caused by a compromised skin barrier. After much trial and error, I settled on a method: I keep a highly concentrated cica pad in the fridge and place it on the most sensitive areas for about five minutes immediately after washing my face. This lowers the temperature and allows the soothing ingredients to be absorbed immediately. You'll notice your skin quickly calming down and the redness noticeably diminishing.

 

In the next step, I'm practicing a cosmetic diet that focuses solely on hydration, excluding functional products to minimize irritation. Applying several thin layers of a moisturizing cream with good ingredients creates a moisture barrier that protects the skin from external irritants without making it feel heavy. If you have sensitive skin like me and are concerned about over-applying various products, I highly recommend trying this minimalist, soothing routine.
