손톱 옆에 뜯다가 피나는 거 완전 공감이요 ㅠㅠ
I ended up seeing blood... What should I do with this dryness that started at my fingertips?
I was sitting on the sofa watching TV and I must have been fiddling with my fingertips without even realizing it. The white hangnail next to my fingernail was really bothering me today, so I pulled it without thinking as soon as I noticed it and ended up drawing blood. Aside from the stinging and pain, I find it incredibly honest that my body reacts first at this time of year. I'd noticed the air getting drier with the changing of seasons, but I never thought the backs of my hands and around my fingernails would get so rough... I don't usually drink much water. I love coffee, but I find it hard to even drink plain water. I've been putting off taking action, and now I feel like my bad habits are showing up on my skin. I just slathered on some ointment, but from today on, I'm going to make a conscious effort to drink plenty of water and always carry a hand cream in my bag. When I'm dehydrated from the inside out, no matter how much I apply, it seems to dry out quickly. It's such a small thing, but it's been so hard to put into practice. Don't be like me, picking at your skin and hurting yourself. Drink plenty of water and moisturize regularly to get through this difficult time. Even if it's annoying, the little routines you have for yourself are the most important.
