A simple daily routine filled with a cold beer on a winter night
It's late at night, and I can hear the biting wind blowing outside. Judging by the light frost on the living room window, it must be really cold today. Having braved the cold and returned home, I finally manage to relax after a day of tension. Sitting in the quiet living room, I crack open a cold can of beer and sip it. The cold carbonation running down my throat seems to wash away the fatigue of the day, creating a truly lyrical evening... As I was intoxicated by the refreshing beer, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Seeing my skin parched by the winter wind was disheartening, and I also felt sorry for working so hard. Honestly, there are many days when I don't want to lift a finger after work, but these days, I've made it a rule to devote small, personal cares to this time. For me, the brief moment of thoroughly washing my face, mixing in a drop of rich oil, and gently patting it in, absorbing it, is the most precious time of self-care. As I get older, I realize how much more powerful these consistent lifestyle habits are for my skin than flashy cosmetics. After taking the last sip from the bottom of a beer can, I try not to forget to take care of myself today. These small, insignificant commitments, combined, will brighten my day tomorrow. I hope you all have a cozy and warm night.
