If you keep peeling tangerines on an electric blanket, your skin will be ruined!
It's already well past nine at night. Outside, a bitter winter wind is howling, but I'm lying on a heated electric blanket, frantically peeling and eating a basket of tangerines. I chuckled to myself when I saw how yellow my fingernails were from eating so many. Then, I went to the bathroom and glanced in the mirror, and the smile vanished. I'd always thought it was nice to be warm inside, but I had no idea my skin was parched from the heat of the heater and the floor temperature. My face felt dry and cracked like a drought-stricken rice paddy, and I was truly reeling. This is the horror of everyday habits. The saying that when you're comfortable, your skin suffers is so true. I hurriedly ripped a sheet mask from the fridge and stuck it on my face, and, feeling sorry for the leftovers, I meticulously applied it to my dry fingers and heels. Why had I been so lazy about doing something so simple? Everyone else was already diligently taking care of themselves at home. Don't just peel tangerines under the covers like me. Instead, try slathering on whatever moisturizing cream you have nearby. I'm reminded once again that even a small act of overcoming laziness is far more effective than any other medicine at our age. Everyone, don't put it off until later. Take action now!
