As the seasons change, I feel unfamiliar with my appearance in the mirror, so I think I should start taking care of my skin.

Yesterday, I went to a hotel for a long-awaited high school classmate's wedding. I hadn't noticed it when I was happily meeting friends under the bright lights, laughing and chatting, but when I glanced in the bathroom mirror, I was shocked at what I saw. Usually, I'm so busy with housework and work that I just apply a little skin lotion. But under the bright lights, I saw foundation clumped up in the wrinkles around my eyes, and my overall complexion looked very dark and dull. Now, I've come to truly recognize the importance of regular skin care. I used to rely on my natural skin and let my guard down, but I guess the passage of time is unavoidable. My friends all seem to be aging gracefully, but I feel a pang of frustration that I've been neglecting my skin care routine. So, I've decided to make time for myself and start taking care of my skin consistently. Expensive cosmetics and treatments are important, but I think it's more important to start by changing small habits one by one. I'd love to hear your thoughts on how you regularly practice skin care.
