Recently, I've been having unexplained skin troubles, so I looked into the cause and it seems to have been caused by an old essence bottle that was sitting in the corner of my vanity. This is a chance to once again realize that no matter how expensive a product is, its ingredients can change and bacteria can grow if it's been a long time since it was opened. Everyone, please make sure to check the expiration date.

I've now developed the habit of writing the opening date on the outside of my cosmetics every time I open them. They say it's safest to use up skincare and lotion within six months to a year. If something feels a little strange or the scent has changed, I think the best way to protect your skin is to throw it away, even if it's a shame.

Today, I'm resting after applying only a light moisturizing gel to calm my skin without applying anything else.
