My own skin soothing routine for important days!
I have a really exciting meeting scheduled for the first time in ages tomorrow. Maybe that's why I can't sleep at night, and I've been staring at my face in the mirror until well past 10 o'clock. Maybe it's the dry winter air, or maybe it's just nerves, but my cheeks are red and sensitive, and I'm really embarrassed.
In these situations, rather than rushing and applying various products, it's most important to calm the irritated area. I focus on cooling down the affected area with my usual toner, applying it like a pack, and then removing the heat. Afterwards, I lightly finish with a cica ampoule. The next day, the redness has definitely subsided and my skin feels smoother.
When your skin is a problem before an important event, it's easy to lose confidence. In times like these, I think it's best to stay calm and practice home care. I've settled into a light routine without being overly ambitious, so all that's left is a good night's sleep. I want to go and come back with a clear face.
