Lifestyle habits that affect my skin right before I go to bed at night
I'd like to write about some of the habits I practice in my daily life to maintain healthy skin. These are my habits at night while I sleep.
I've noticed that if I sleep without paying attention to my posture, I tend to develop wrinkles on my neck and face. So, to prevent unnecessary wrinkles, I try to use a pillow that's as low as possible. I'm also a bit concerned that if the pillow is too high, my neck can bend, deepening the wrinkles.
Sleeping position is also important. Sleeping on your side can cause your face to be pressed against your skin, which can be detrimental. Repeatedly doing this can deepen wrinkles, so I consciously try to sleep upright, looking at the ceiling. Even if I can't help it after falling asleep, I try to maintain good posture at least while I'm awake.
Lastly, we can't overlook the hygiene of our pillowcases, which come into direct contact with our skin. Sweat and impurities shed overnight can cause skin problems. Even though it's a hassle, we wash and replace our covers frequently to maintain cleanliness.
I believe that these small habits will accumulate to create healthy skin in the long run, and I am working hard today as well.
