The 7-Skin Method and Moisture Layering Routine to Fight Dryness
On days like these, when the wind is cold and windy, even the best cream can quickly feel dry. So, I'm going to share my personal skincare routine, which I've been working on the most recently. The method I've found most effective is "moisture layering." After washing my face, without drying it, I apply a light, water-based toner three or four times. I find that applying multiple thin layers, rather than a large amount at once, allows my skin to absorb moisture deep into the skin.
Next, I apply a layer of moisture with an emulsion mixed with a drop of hyaluronic acid ampoule. In the past, I used to be lazy and just applied one all-in-one product, but by diligently applying it in this way, my inner skin feels less tight. On days when my skin feels particularly dry, I rub a drop of face oil on my palm and wrap my face around it at the end of this routine. It's a small routine I do at home, but consistency is key. What are you doing to address inner skin dryness?
