My muscles are sore from the first day of my workout. What is your home care routine?
Does everyone have a special home care routine after working out? Maybe it's because my muscles are extra tense in the winter, but I signed up for my first spinning class today and my whole body already feels like it's been beaten up. It's past 8 p.m. and I can barely sit up in bed. I'm so exhausted. I'm worried that if I fall asleep like this, I won't be able to get out of bed tomorrow morning. So, I wanted to ask for some advice.
In winter, it's cold outside and dry indoors due to the heating, so my skin feels particularly dry right after exercising. First, I try to fill my body with warm water, add some bath salts, and take a short half-body bath. I think it helps with blood circulation and loosens up my muscles. One of my favorite little touches is to put on a sheet mask while I'm taking a half-body bath, and it definitely helps reduce the heat and moisturize my skin. Actually, what I'm really curious about is massage techniques that directly help relieve muscle pain, or movements that would be good to use while applying body products.
Is it right to just rub it with a foam roller? Or do you have any special products like oil or cooling cream that you use? Now that I'm in my 30s, I feel like my recovery speed isn't what it used to be, so I really need to take better care of my body. On days when I feel particularly heavy after working out, do you know any effective treatments that only you know? Management Tips If you have any, please share them. I'll be waiting for your comments while enjoying a cup of warm tea.
