The counterattack of mala-tang on a winter night... Is there a routine to soothe the burning sensation around your mouth?
Perhaps because it's a cold, windy winter evening, I've been craving something particularly spicy and stimulating. I ended up having mala-tang for dinner tonight, and my lips and the surrounding skin are in a state of total rage. I'm incredibly sensitive, so even the slightest irritation causes me to turn red, but with the winter dryness, the stinging sensation just won't go away. I'm perplexed, but I'm also curious to know how others deal with this. I apply a generous amount of cica ampoule immediately after washing my face, then immediately apply a cold modeling pack to dissipate the heat as quickly as possible. I know I'll break out tomorrow morning if I don't cool my skin down, so I'm practicing some desperate home care. The area around my lips is especially delicate, so I apply a thick layer of moisturizing cream, like a pack, as a way to treat it. Do you have any emergency soothing techniques you use when your skin suddenly flips over? My own secrets feel a little lacking, so I desperately need your insightful advice tonight.
