Skin care tips learned while doing home care

I think home care has a bigger impact on my skin than I thought. I've always felt that exfoliation is the most important, but I rarely scrub as often as I used to. These days, I only use a gentle exfoliating product when my skin feels rough, or I just use a toner with exfoliating ingredients. Afterward, I always finish with a moisturizing or soothing pack. This way, my skin texture is more stable, and my makeup doesn't flake, so I'm very satisfied.
