The golden time for skin regeneration: Correcting your sleeping habits
Staying up late at night on my smartphone and then falling asleep late was a long-standing bad habit of mine. Naturally, I woke up with a dull complexion and dark circles under my eyes. I realized this wasn't going to work, so I recently changed my skincare routine to "improve my sleep environment." I make a point of getting to bed before 11 p.m., when skin regeneration is most active.
Before bed, I completely block out light with blackout curtains and run a humidifier to maintain the right humidity. I can feel my skin resting comfortably without drying out overnight. Getting enough sleep and waking up on time definitely changes the texture of my skin the next morning. Sleep, I believe, is just as important as getting expensive aesthetic treatments. While it's great to cover up the outside with cosmetics, I've recently realized that giving your skin time to heal from the inside is crucial. Tonight, why not put down your smartphone for a moment and drift off to sleep early for the sake of your skin?
