On nights when I'm afraid to look in the mirror, I suddenly start worrying about my poor skin condition.
It's a particularly calming evening today, perhaps because the cold wind is howling outside and the dry air from the heater is all I can smell inside. I hope you all had a good day today. When I opened my eyes this morning and looked in the mirror, I was shocked. There was a huge pimple right in the middle of my forehead. Now that I'm in my 30s, even minor skin troubles like this can completely shake up my skin, so I've been worrying about it all day and seriously worrying about it.
In the past, my skin would quickly become smooth after just one night of sleep, but these days, my skin's recovery has noticeably slowed, making me realize that my skin's natural strength has truly weakened. Perhaps that's why, after washing my face in the evening, rather than simply focusing on moisturizing, I've been more diligently applying nourishing products that can tighten sagging skin. Ultimately, correcting irregular lifestyle habits is just as important as applying cosmetics, but that's not easy. Tonight, I'm going to soothe any irritated areas and go to bed earlier than usual. I think we need to take extra care of ourselves so that the cold winter wind doesn't harm our skin and mind.
