The Uninvited Guest of the Seasonal Change: Diagnosing My Sensitive Skin
Maybe it's because the temperature has been fluctuating all of a sudden, but my skin has been particularly sensitive lately. Even the cosmetics I normally use sometimes feel irritating, so I'm going to take care of it today. Checking and recording my skin condition these days I'm trying to leave it. When I look closely in the mirror, there are some red spots around my cheeks, and white dead skin cells have formed around my mouth, so it seems like my skin barrier has been greatly weakened overall.
In times like these, I find that focusing solely on "soothing" is the answer, rather than rushing and applying a bunch of products. So, for the time being, I'm putting functional products aside and slathering on gentle creams containing centella asiatica extract or panthenol, giving my skin time to heal itself. By keeping a daily log, I'll be able to accumulate data on what environments my skin finds most comfortable. For those of you who can't sleep because of seasonal skin concerns, let's work together to overcome this!
