A habit I changed immediately after taking a mirror selfie.
I just got my delivery and I'm so in love with this knit I'm having a blast in front of the mirror! The color is so crazy, I knew I had to capture it, so I turned on my camera... Huh? What's wrong with my skin? The light was right on me, and the bumps around my nose and the navel area I'd been trying so hard to ignore were now so prominent. I was really shocked. Because it's winter, I thought washing my face with hot water and slathering on a sloppy moisturizer would be the answer. But I guess that was completely ruining my skin! It was so dry and sagging. So, I completely changed my daily habits for the past week. I start with lukewarm water when I wash my face, and I immediately smooth out my skin texture with a pad right after! Even though it's a hassle, I just soak a cotton pad in toner and apply it like a mask for five minutes, and it definitely tightens my skin texture. And when applying foundation, don't rub it in; press it in firmly to absorb it! It's such a small thing, but after about a week, I can see my skin in the mirror and see how much more even it is. Rather than expensive treatments, these daily habits seem to be the most cost-effective. Oh, as I'm writing, I'm suddenly craving the leftover waffles I had earlier in the day. LOL It's almost dinner time, but I'm so hungry I'm feeling dizzy. I need to change my clothes and run to the kitchen! Everyone, don't just focus on moisturizing because it's winter. Check your basic habits like washing and applying makeup. Your quality of life will truly change!
