I'm having a mental breakdown after opening the bottle of a discontinued item... I'm sharing my winter survival home care tips.
It's already past 8:20. The winter wind slaps against the window frame, making it particularly chilling this evening. The roaring heat from the boiler warms my body, but between the cold air outside and the dryness inside, my skin is on the verge of screaming. You know how you get all emotional, only to be suddenly swept away by a real-world worry as you stand in front of the mirror? Honestly, I'm feeling a bit anxious right now. I have a life-saving hydrating ampoule that's been taking care of my skin for nearly a decade, but after hearing it was discontinued last year, I hoarded the last bottle and finally opened it this evening. After using it all up, I'm at a loss, and my hands are shaking, wondering how I'm going to overcome this brutal winter dryness! But I can't give in to this, so for the time being, I'm going to completely tighten up my home care routine with my own drastic prescription. First of all, to maintain moisture, I boldly skipped wiping off the toner in the base step and layered a runny toner more than four times to let it absorb. Then, my survival strategy these days is to mix just two drops of that precious ampoule and gently press it all over my face as if wrapping it. Lastly, I apply a slightly richer cream than usual mixed with a drop of face oil to lock in the moisture. It definitely makes my face feel less tight because I put so much effort into it. I need to find a more solid skin care tip before my life-saving product is completely gone... Do you know that feeling when your life-saving product is discontinued? I'm so anxious I can't sleep, but I'm going to enjoy this moisture until tonight.
