Why Moderate Skin Care Is Actually Effective
In the past, when my skin was not doing well, I would add more products one by one. I believed that applying multiple layers of essence, ampoule, and cream would improve it, but at some point, my skin became more sensitive and I had more frequent breakouts. So I completely changed my skincare routine. I switched to a simple routine of lightly cleansing with a soothing toner after washing my face, then using only hydrating ampoules and creams. I was anxious at first, but after a few days, my skin actually felt more comfortable. I also reduced my exfoliation to once or twice a week, and I only used face masks when my skin was in good condition. These days, I've realized that skin doesn't improve with constant additions, but rather, it regains its resilience when you ease the burden. A subtle but consistent routine has proven to be the best approach for my skin.
