Week 2 of the 2-liter water challenge: Will my skin actually change?
It's definitely a struggle to drink water in the winter, but do you all make sure to drink at least 2 liters a day? It's 9:40 PM right now, and I still have 500ml left to drink today, so I'm sighing and writing this post to record my skin. I have dry skin, and I felt like my face would tear up every winter, so I decided to start drinking water with determination. Aside from the inconvenience of frequent bathroom visits, I'm observing closely to see if there are any tangible changes. At first, I thought I'd feel a surge of energy if I just drank water, but after about two weeks of consistent drinking, I'm realizing that replenishing moisture from within is fundamentally more important than layering on basic products. Above all, I've personally experienced less tightness around my mouth and eyes when I wake up in the morning, so I can't stop because I think it's not just a feeling. It's just my own little experience. Management Tips One thing I'd like to add is to frequently sip lukewarm water, similar to body temperature, rather than cold water. This is much more effective because it absorbs much faster and leaves you feeling less bloated. Besides this hydration routine, do you have any other secrets for revitalizing your skin barrier, especially when it's damaged by the cold wind? Drinking only plain water can be more challenging than you think, so if you have a more efficient method, please share it.
