How do you all manage the cracked, chapped skin on the backs of your hands? I'm so worried...
By any chance, how is everyone's winter hand care routine? The weather has gotten so cold that I'm really worried about my chapped skin. I was so busy running around outside today that I kept forgetting to put on hand cream, and when I came home this evening and looked at the back of my hands, they were so white that they were even red, which really surprised me. It's almost 10 p.m., and I'm looking at the back of my hands alone and worrying about it, but my skin feels so dry and itchy that I can't sleep. I'm so sensitive and timid that I'm embarrassed to show my hands to people at work tomorrow, and I'm already worried that everyone will think I don't take good care of them. I've been thinking about going to the hospital, but I'm holding back because I feel like I'm being too much of a fuss, but there's a surefire way to get results at home. Home care Is there a way? Just applying a thick layer of lotion doesn't seem to help. Should I mix some oil in and apply it before bed and wear cotton gloves, or should I buy a moisturizing pack and do something urgent? I'd appreciate some advice. The skin on my hands is so thin that I'm worried about even choosing a single ingredient. For those with sensitive skin like mine, I'm really curious about what soothing routines you use. If you have any tips I can try right now, please let me know.
