Anyone else having trouble sleeping at night due to itching? This small but deadly habit.
Why does my skin get so sensitive around this time of day? Even with the humidifier on, I find myself scratching my arms and legs. Outside, it's a dark winter night, but the air in my room is so dry it feels like my skin can't breathe. Come to think of it, I've only had a few cups of coffee all day. It's cold outside and dry inside, so I can feel my skin parching out, even to the core. I feel like I've been neglecting basic daily habits. Itching late at night keeps me up at night, and I'm finally realizing that a refreshing glass of water is far more important than slathering on tens of thousands of won worth of cream. I try layering moisturizer on the itchy areas, but it feels like it's just superficial. Ultimately, I think the key is to hydrate from within. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to make sure to carry a tumbler with me and consciously replenish my moisture. What habits do you adopt when your skin feels so dry it's about to crack? As I write this in the middle of the night, enduring the itchiness, I find myself desperately craving a sip of cold water.
