Just applying hand cream isn't the answer. My habits were the problem.

It's already 11:20 PM, and I went to bed but finally woke up. As I was trying to cover myself with the blanket, my nails kept catching on the fabric, stinging and irritating. It was so bothersome that I couldn't sleep. I thought my hands were dry because of the winter, so I just applied a generous amount of hand cream, but after a while, they turned white again. This makes me think it's more of an internal problem than an external one. Honestly, I've been so busy and in a hurry lately that I haven't even been drinking enough water and skipping nutritional supplements because they're too much of a hassle. When I look in the mirror, my skin is dull and lackluster. I guess I've been completely ignoring my body's balance. It's frustrating how I believed that just applying good products would improve my skin, while neglecting to take care of myself from the inside out. Starting tomorrow, I'm going to work on curbing my impatience, consciously drinking more water, and breaking down the little habits that fill me up. Ultimately, the pain in my fingertips at night made me realize that without health that comes from within, no matter how expensive the creams are, they're all in vain. For those of you with rough, visible skin like mine, I suggest rethinking your lifestyle. Since a good night's sleep is a given, I really need to get some shut-eye.
