The wind was particularly sharp today. My cheeks were flushed and dry, feeling like they'd crack at any moment, but my belly button clock was beeping relentlessly, which was embarrassing. Now that I'm in my 40s, if I don't watch my diet, it shows on my body right away, and my digestion isn't what it used to be, which is scary. I don't know why I crave warm soups and carbohydrates, especially on winter nights like these. So I went to the kitchen and opened a pack of diet shakes. You might wonder how they'll fill me up, but for someone with weak willpower like me, a nightly diet shake is my last resort. It's quite delicious and packed with nutrients, so I definitely feel less guilty about drinking it late at night. Every time I'm craving a late-night snack, I go to bed without worrying about bloating the next day thanks to these diet shakes. It's already late at night, but if I can just get through this tough time, I'll feel much lighter tomorrow morning.
