People who have red faces these days, how do you do your home care in the winter?
The wind has gotten colder in the evening. I was hit hard by the cold wind on my way home from work, and as soon as I got home, I turned on the heater, and sure enough, my face quickly became flushed... It's freezing outside, but the heater and heating inside make it dry and hot, and my skin can't handle it. The tip of my nose and cheeks are especially red, and I feel like I've turned red. I'm worried that if these sudden temperature changes continue, my skin barrier will quickly become damaged.
Actually, it's not easy to go to a professional salon every time and it costs a lot of time and money, so I've been putting a lot of effort into my home care routine after work these days. First, after washing my face, I apply hydrating toner three or four times while my skin is still wet to help combat any dryness. After that, I put on a sheet mask packed with soothing ingredients. I find that if I put this mask pack in the fridge for a bit to cool it down before using it, it helps a lot in reducing the fever. Even if I just consistently do these little home care routines, I can feel my skin calming down a little after suffering during the day.
But one thing I'm worried about is that simply replenishing moisture doesn't seem to completely alleviate that peculiar burning sensation overnight. I'm also a little afraid that slathering on a highly nutritious cream might cause breakouts. Are there any home care routines or products that are particularly effective at soothing my skin, which becomes sensitive and red due to temperature changes? In the winter, lying in bed while peeling tangerines is my greatest joy, and I wish I could use that free time to properly care for my face. Now that I'm in my 30s, even the slightest lapse in skin care shows up in my skin condition the next morning, so I'm always curious about new information. I'm really curious to know what secrets other members have to maintain a consistent skin temperature in this cold winter!
