We analyzed the ingredients of a scalp care ampoule that will help relieve itchiness on the crown of your head during the dry winter season.
How are you all managing the itchiness and dead skin cells on your scalp these days, with the heaters on high? I was chatting with my parents over an early dinner, and they mentioned that their scalps have been getting very dry and itchy. Actually, I'm getting off work, and after being under the office heater all day, my scalp has been itching quite a bit. Especially in times like these, the scalp barrier needs as much attention as the skin on your face. Many scalp care ampoules on the market simply provide a temporary cooling sensation with ethanol, so it's important to carefully examine the ingredients. I primarily focus on the ratio of panthenol to salicylic acid. While a moderate amount of salicylic acid might be beneficial for oily scalps to remove impurities, in dry winter conditions like these, choosing a scalp care ampoule with a high concentration of panthenol, which boosts moisture retention, is far more beneficial for strengthening the barrier. I've found that products with a base of centella asiatica extract or tea tree leaf water are significantly more effective at soothing the scalp than those with a high concentration of purified water. Moreover, since the phenomenon of hair floating due to static electricity is ultimately a sign of a breakdown in the scalp's oil-moisture balance, lightly applying a moisture-based scalp care ampoule is very helpful. Thinking about it again while peeling a tangerine in the warm living room, I think that if I stock up on products with good ingredients, I will be able to spend the rest of the year-end comfortably without itchiness. What extract-based products do you usually prefer? Do you prefer the coolness of strong menthol, or the soothing effect that focuses on mild irritation? If you have a recommended routine, please share it with us.
