My skin is in chaos due to dryness in winter... I'm sharing my skin barrier management tips.
It's past 8 a.m., but the cold wind is still blowing outside. The moment I looked in the mirror, I sighed. A huge pimple had formed right in the center of my forehead, right where it's most noticeable. I've already felt my skin cracking and chapped recently because of the heater, and now it's finally happening, which weighs heavily on my mind. As I get older, my resilience isn't what it used to be, so I'm worried that I might end up with a scar. Honestly, no matter how good your skincare routine is in the winter, it's useless if your daily routine is disrupted. So I've been revamping my routine, focusing on my established skin barrier care products. The first thing I'm concerned about is the water temperature. Washing your face with water that's too hot because it's cold is a surefire way to destroy your skin barrier. I wash with lukewarm water, then, before all the moisture evaporates, I apply a generous layer of my favorite skin barrier care products. By diligently applying these skin barrier care products, I notice a significant reduction in my skin tightness. Especially on winter nights, I always turn on the humidifier when I sleep, and my skin feels less flabby when I wake up in the morning. Because of my timid personality, even the smallest problem can make me feel depressed all day, but with consistent care, things will get better, right? Please take care of your health during this cold winter, and don't worry like I did...
