You know how sometimes your skin suddenly becomes sensitive and itchy? Maybe you use a cosmetic product that doesn't suit your skin type, or you get a rash during your period, or something else irritates your skin and makes it red and itchy?
This is my home care routine to soothe my skin when that happens.
First, wash your face with a mildly acidic cleanser.
I usually prefer a thick cleanser, but when my skin is dry, I wash my face with a mild cleanser to minimize handling.
Immediately after washing your face and lightly drying it, quickly apply an ampoule with a soothing effect.
Apply a moisturizing, thin ampoule in two or three layers.
I'm currently using It's Skin Gamcho Julen and One Thing Eoseongcho Ampoule. I've repurchased and used several bottles of It's Skin Gamcho Julen. I recommend the Gamcho Julen!
Then, apply a modeling pack to the face after generously applying the calming ampoule.
If you use a modeling pack, the skin's heat will go down, irritated skin will noticeably calm down, and your skin will become bright on the outside and soft on the inside.
Sheet masks can sometimes irritate the skin, but modeling masks actually soothe it, so I can use them often without any burden. However, they're cumbersome and annoying, so I only use modeling masks when I'm taking care of my skin. The problem is, lol.
I'm using the Lindsay Modeling Pack, and I think it's cost-effective and easy to use.
Having a modeling pack is incredibly useful for home care. For me, it's a core part of my home care routine. The difference between using a modeling pack and not using one is quite significant. Now, without one, my home care routine feels empty.
After removing the modeling pack, apply the soothing ampoule again and finish by applying the skin barrier cream.
After applying the modeling pack, when applying the foundation again, I usually use a galvanic device to help it absorb, but I think galvanic devices can also irritate the skin that has been flipped over, so I tend to avoid using beauty devices when doing soothing care.
This is my home care routine when my skin is turned over.
Actually, there's nothing special about it. When doing soothing care, I think it's better to minimize skin irritation and touch the skin as little as possible, so my home care routine has become simpler.
Does anyone else have a special home care routine to soothe their skin?
My go-to skin soothing product is a modeling pack, but if you have any more effective tips, please share them with me!
