Since I didn't have any clothes for the end of the year, I ended up starting diet shakes again.
It's already pitch dark outside and the wind is blustery. I just got home from work and the velvet dress I ordered last week for my year-end party arrived, so I was so excited I did a fashion show in the mirror. But it's definitely winter, so I'm less active and I've been peeling tangerines under the heater, so the fat I'd been hiding under my coat has definitely accumulated... I was shocked when I zipped it up because it wasn't the same as before. Finally, at 6:57, I gave up on my late-night snack and pulled out the box of diet shakes I'd stashed deep in the cupboard. I don't know why I crave something warm and fatty when the weather gets cold. But seeing myself in the mirror today cleared my head, so I'm going to try and control my diet by drinking a diet shake as part of my evening routine. The shake is actually richer and thicker than I expected, and the filling feeling after drinking it is a plus. Thanks to this, it's much easier to resist cravings for bungeoppang (fish-shaped bread) or roasted sweet potatoes in a static-dry room. I'm going to stick to this home care routine until the end-of-year gathering! If anyone else, like me, lets their guard down and ends up with tight clothes, let's all cheer up together. It's a bit of a hassle to always take it, but I can't give up because I feel so light after just one diet shake. The answer is clear when I look in the mirror, so let's all fight, starting today!
